A1Towing/HardCor Wins Las Vegas Bacon Ball

NY Metro and Alliance both have their shots but come up short against the Vegas Champs
Last weekend some of the best police softball teams in the country came together in Vegas for the annual Las Vegas Bacon Ball tournament. This tournament has grown steadily each year and is one of the premier tourneys on the LEO circuit. All the teams played within their own bracket for seeding purposes and there were no huge surprises. The only minor surprise in bracket play based on name recognition was Jacksonville PSC getting the #2 spot instead of their customary #1 spot. JPSC came light handed to the tournament and were missing some pieces so a #2 finish wasnt a total shock. Winners Brackets Results:

And in the Championship game, HardCor kept on with their winning ways and defeated NY Metro in a very tight and exciting game. This was a great win for HardCor as they looked dialed in all weekend and came up big when they needed to. This win vaults HardCor to #1 in the west points chase and now puts them in the catbird seat.

Anthony Bertolozzi Hit .788 many clutch hits
Chad Bankston Hit .788 and was nails on D all weekend
Jarrod Dodson Hit over .700 and made Highlight catches in the Big games
NY Metro
Mike Taylor played catcher,middle,second, and first this weekend hit over .750 with a bunch of big hits.
Mickey Ackerman DH, catcher,and first hit over .850 for the weekend with a bunch of clutch hits.
Shawn McDonnell also hit over .800 and DH'd most of the weekend and lead the team in homeruns.
Donny Meyer played middle,second ,first,and pitched also hit over .750 and set the table for the big hitters.
Alliance
Nate Baez hit Over 650 and once again was money with the leather.
Robert Roque hit .750 and was extremely important playing multiple positions all tourney.
Jeff Blair hit .739 and played some of the best 2B of his career
Ray Ghiliotty was the driving force behind the Alliance hitting over .700 with power and pitching the majority of the time.
